Miss Nepal World, Shrinkhala- Khatiwada has crowned the 23rd Miss Nepal World At Kathmandu, 11 April 2018, at Hotel Annapurna, Durbar Marg. Shrinkhala-Khatiwada aged 22 was crowned the 23rd Miss Nepal World by her predecessor Nikita Chandak at the grand final hosted by chief judge Gopal Sundar Lal Kakshapati, Chairperson of The Hidden Treasure.
How did she had bagged the crown?
At final, Chairperson of The Hidden Treasure Gopal Sundar Lal Kakshapati asked the final seven contestants "What three tasks need to be performed to make prosperous Nepal and happy Nepali?"
And Shrinkhala Khatiwada's answer was,
"I believe there's a lot that needs to be done to make our country a developed one. However, if I have to think of three major changes that can happen - first we need to change the bureaucratic system of our country, which is too corrupt from the grassroots to the top. The second is, "I would like to empower the youth. Youth, the majority of the population of our country, can make big changes if we try. If youth put their hands together to make our country prosperous, if we lead our country with vision, if we become job creators, visionaries, create employment opportunities by ourselves by trusting the government." - then in the end, "We all Nepalis should be able to trust in ourselves, it's like a ripple effect of positivity. If one person brings a big change, it's like a drop on the ocean that spreads out among the thousands of minds that bring positivity in the nation. I believe that we all will join hands together and believe that we can bring big changes."
And that bagged her the crown.

What difference have you found before and after Miss Nepal pageant? How do you feel after being Miss Nepal?
I am the same person. The only difference is now there are more responsibilities. I have the crown of Miss Nepal on my head. I am not only the daughter of my home but of my country too. Otherwise, I am a typical girl having a regular life. I feel excited because people have started to recognize me.
What is the most stressful part about working as a celebrity and how do you tackle it in your personal life?
The key is to balance your private and public life, to make sure you are in the right mental state. I keep myself around the positive company and people that I trust and love. The key for me is to remember my roots and not get carried away with "popularity" or "fame".
How conscious you are about your diet, any tips would you like to give to followers?
I'm guilty of being quite reckless with my eating habits. But, one thing that I make sure is to drink enough water every day. Also, I love greens and veggies so I make sure I include them in my meals.
What healthy habits do you recommend the followers?
To make sure that you are physically active. Be it walking or gym or yoga or some household chores. Get moving!!
What exercise routine do you follow?
Again, guilty of not having a routine. I go for cycling in my leisure. My friends and I like to go for wall climbing sometimes. We love travelling, so most of my time is spent out of town which keeps my body physically active.
What is your view regarding the growing technology toward digital health?
Very optimistic about the progress. Our geography has forever been a challenge for accessibility of health facilities, this could be a boon for us.
What kind of health tech wearable do you like to use? How does it help you in your daily life?
I don't wear any. I keep track through apps. I used to have an app to remind me to drink water which later became a habit. When I'm on a diet, I keep track of my calories intake through apps. Also, I track my every day steps and physical activities through my phone.
